You might notice I’ve picked up a couple of "unfriendly" reviews regarding my recent book Misquotes in Misquoting Jesus. People seem to have extremely strong personal thoughts on Misquoting Jesus and its views, noticeably seen in the emotionally-charged words hitting the internet.
In contrast with the negative (and sometimes, personally-targeted) comments, I’ve had some major positive feedback as well. Many Christian readers have noted how it has helped provide a tool to back up their concerns regarding Ehrman’s approach to the New Testament. Of greatest impact to me, I’ve appreciated comments from academic-level readers who have noted my approach as conservative, yet very diplomatic in respect to differing opinions.
