  • CENTER CONFERENCE FACILITY MICHIGAN Information Site…

  • The most interesting open issue is where exactly the facility will be located. The Times and the AA News report that Google wants to be “downtown”. But there are really no suitable buildings downtown with enough vacancies for a thousand person call center.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Univeristy of Michigan winds up donating some space. The Life Sciences Institute, widely regarded as a huge whie elephant, might be a good temporary location while Google gets accustomed to Ann Arbor’s fervent anti-density lobbyists.
