Pepe Escobar: A MASSACRE AND A NEW CIVIL WAR. Politically, the complex, explosive Iraqi Shi’ite situation is now polarized beyond redemption. On one side there is a de facto alliance of the “Iranians” - Maliki, the SCIRI’s Abdul Haziz …

wfzimmerman’s review: “This "anticipation" book will have been in print for at least three years before the real sequel to DA VINCI CODE comes out. But it is good value for money, with a very careful approach to the facts and an appendix containing Dan Brown’s witness statement in the London copyright trial.”

wfzimmerman’s review: “My technical editor warned me not to be so self-indulgent, but I pushed on anyway. He was probably right, but oddly enough, some readers really liked the "diversion" into the context of note-taking.
The experience of writing for a publisher made me feel like a monkey feeding a sausage-grinder … I switched to publishing after this!”

wfzimmerman’s review: “I published this using public-domain content as part of an experiment in generating ad-relevant book content in the hopes that it would prove to be self-supporting via Google Book Search. That did not pan out, but the title and content of this book is compelling enough that it continues to sell a couple of copies every month. A more full-fledged series along these lines might have some promise. I’m just not interested enough in validating hypochondria to make it a priority.”

wfzimmerman’s review: “I published this, my first book, because of my outrage at the Abu Ghraib scandal. The cover is crude, but the content has held up remarkably well, and the book continues to sell at a low but steady pace.
Just yesterday I read an article about Maj General Taguba, the author of the Taguba report (included), who feels he was railroaded out of the military by the civilian defense bureaucracy in 2006. For the record, Rumsfeld’s spokesman said he thought Taguba did a good job under difficult circumstances, and Rumsfeld has been quoted as saying that the worst day of his tenure, by far, was the day that the Abu Ghraib images were released. I heartily agree … but there were so many other days to pick from! ;-0″

wfzimmerman’s review: “I published this edition (along with ALCHEMIST’S CELL) to take a flyer on the possibility that the title of HP7 would be the trademarked CHARIOTS OF LIGHT or ALCHEMIST’S CELL. I was wrong, but these "alternate" versions sold enough to earn their printing expenses back.”
