Discerning visitors will notice that there are a lot of new posts flowing into What’s New for Book-Lovers. We just moved into a new house and, for the first time in ten years, I have room to have all my books out on shelves. So I’m in the midst of a major project to alphabetize and catalog my books. As a result, I’ve discovered LibraryThing, where many of these posts are coming from.
I’m also fortunate to live in the area served by the Ann Arbor District Library, one of the most cutting edge public libraries in the world, and this site now also includes the running stream of “My Checkouts”.
But the core mission of “What’s New for Book-Lovers” remains the same as it has been since it was launched thirteen years ago, on March 30, 1994: to provide entertaining and interesting information about books for book-lovers. Enjoy!
