International Law Documents: Cases and Materials (American Casebook) by Louis Henkin, Richard Crawford Pugh, Oscar Schachter, Hans Smit

wfzimmerman's review: "I helped build the Environmental Resources and Treaty Indicators Database (ENTRI), one of the first web-based resources to make international treaties available. I even gave a presentation at the American Society for International Law annual meeting in 1994! However, probably the most unusual experience in *this* book's lifetime was the five years it just spent holding up the center of our queen-sized bedframe ..."

Beyond Winning: Negotiating to Create Value in Deals and Disputes by Robert H. Mnookin, Scott R. Peppet, Andrew S. Tulumello, Scott Peppet

wfzimmerman's review: "I have a lot of books about negotiation, but, oddly enough, I'm not that great of a negotiator, nor do I especially enjoy it. I don't have a sanguinary temperament ... but I did fully master the concept of Best Alternative to A Negotiated Agreement, or BATNA. You always have to be ready to walk away!"

Library, Bookseller, and Wholesale Orders

Bookstores and other resellers: All our books are printed on demand by Lightning Source. For orders of one or a few copies, or for orders requiring credit or invoicing, please order from Ingram or Baker & Taylor in the U.S., or Gardners or Bertrams in the U.K.

For larger orders, we sell books wholesale on the following terms:

  • Minimum order: 10 copies per title to a single location.
  • Discount for resellers: 35%. For independent bookstores and specialty suppliers, this discount rises to 40% for 20 copies or more of a single title to a single location; and 50% for 50 copies or more. For schools and libraries, the discount for any quantity not meant for resale is 20%.
  • Shipping and handling: We will provide you this cost information as part of your invoice.
  • Payment: All orders must be prepaid. After sending your order, you will receive a request for payment through PayPal that you can make by credit card or bank transfer. (PayPal does not require an account with them for payment by credit card.) Or if you wish, you can send your order with a check in USD to the address below.
  • Returns: No returns allowed. But we will replace or refund for copies that are defective or damaged on arrival.
  • Our books are “print on demand,” meaning the copies you order probably aren’t printed yet. Even so, they can normally be drop shipped from the U.S. East Coast or the London area within two or three days. If you give us a required delivery date, we’ll check feasibility before accepting your order.
  • Please note that all our books have standard bar codes but no price either in the bar code or elsewhere on the cover. Also, spine text is omitted on books shorter than 80 pages. Dimensions, print quality, and other physical traits may vary slightly among copies of the same title, depending on the print run.
