According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Matt Helm movie project is still underway, now at the production firm Kurtzman/Orci. The assigned writer, Paul Attanasio, has a pretty good track record, including five years as executive producer of House, M.D.
Hugh Laurie as tall, cynical, sensitive, ruthless assassin Matt Helm? Sounds like a “slam dunk.”
