Should I find someone to write a Foreword?

Yes, definitely. This can have a major impact on the sales of your book.

The ideal author of a Foreword is a best-selling author on a similar topic who has a relatively low number of books in print, since this means that when people click on that author’s name they will see one of your books come up in the top few results.

For an example of this in action, see THE JOHN BOYD ROUNDTABLE, edited by Mark Safranski, with a Foreword by best-selling author Thomas P.M. Barnett. Barnett only has three books in print, so the JOHN BOYD ROUNDTABLE, to which he contributed the Foreword, is #4 in the list of books by him.
