What I know about ”comparable” book sales by other publishers for various categories of books:
- books with the words “torpedo boat”, “motor torpedo”, or “PT Boat” in their titles: 0.5X to 20X where X = my average unloaded breakeven cost
- books with the word “battleship” in the title and naval themes: 0.5X to 50X with outliers at 200X and 400X.
- 170 books with the word “Obama” in the title: 0.5X to 4600X
