This year I wrote a Python program to handle my sales analysis and royalty accounting needs. It takes Kindle Direct and Lightning Source report files and converts them into Pandas dataframes which it then merges with a spreadsheet of title metadata. I have about 300 books in print and 16 years of royalty statements and it blows through them all and produces a variety of reports in just a few seconds. I am considering open sourcing it or offering it as a service. If interested in kicking the tires, please contact me at wfz at nimblebooks.com.
The program is named LeoBloom.py, in honor of the accountant played by Gene Wilder in "The Producers".
